Eshna Khadka

Biography

Eshna Khadka (she/her) is a Non-Executive Director of Women of Colour Australia. She was born in Kathmandu, Nepal and now resides on the land of the Gai-mariagal people, who are part of the Eora Nation. She has an extensive background in the not-for-profit (NFP) sector and has a solid understanding of NFP governance. Eshna has worked in the NFP sector for ten years. She has worked in the mental health, aged care, and disability sectors in senior leadership roles, where she has been a critical part of the organisation’s transformation. She has also served as an NFP Board Director and currently is a National Ambassador for Leading Age Services Australia. 

Eshna is driven by her deep desire to support women and see them thrive. She believes in empowering women and supporting them to achieve the best outcomes in their career paths, particularly in their leadership journeys. 

Eshna is committed to lifelong learning and believes in the power of education. She holds a Diploma in Community Services, Advance Diploma in Community Sector Management, Bachelor of Social Science, and Masters of Business Administration. In her leisure time, Eshna loves exploring new places and learning through people’s life experiences.
