Why $1,000 a year?

Women of Colour Australia is building long-term, systemic change, and that requires funding we can count on.

The amount is deliberate. $1,000 is a real commitment, and 1,000 of us making it builds a $1 million fund every year, controlled by Women of Colour and directed at our own priorities.

Your $1,000 a year lets us:

Plan ahead with confidence
Invest in people and programs, not just short-term projects
Say yes to what matters without waiting for permission

This isn't just a donation. It's a vote of trust, and it's what independence is built on.

Many workplaces will match your gift dollar for dollar. If yours does, your $1,000 becomes $2,000 for Women of Colour leadership. It's worth asking your HR or payroll team, or checking your workplace giving portal.
