Biography

Jade Hoskins (she/her) is a Volunteer Non-Executive Director of Women of Colour Australia. Jade has a diverse background in strategy and policy, communications and engagement, and urban planning across Australia and Canada. In joining Women of Colour Australia, Jade hopes to empower Women of Colour to achieve their career goals and see more Women of Colour appointed to leadership roles.

Jade specialises in building strong relationships with communities and stakeholders to deliver positive change. She is a firm believer in achieving the best outcomes through research and education, collaboration, and innovative thinking. In her current role with the NSW Government, Jade manages partnerships between NSW government agencies to ensure effective governance, service delivery, and regulatory operations. Prior to this, Jade served as the senior coordinator for public consultation at the City of Toronto in Canada. She was the principal advisor to the Transportation Planning Team on stakeholder engagement, community consultation, and project communications. 

Jade holds a Bachelor of Planning (Hons) from the University of NSW and a Graduate Certificate of Organisational Change from Charles Sturt University. In her free time, Jade enjoys travelling the world and chasing after adventure.

Jade is a second-generation Australian, born to immigrants from Malaysia and England.
