Shazya Khan is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategist and advocate driving systemic change across corporate, public, and community sectors. Based in the lands of the Darug people (Western Sydney) and of Fijian heritage, Shazya brings a strong commitment to equity, representation, and social justice, shaped by her lived experience as a Woman of Colour. With a background in strategic account management, she now works as a DEI consultant, advising organisations on embedding inclusive practices that deliver both cultural and performance outcomes. Her recent work includes partnering with Women of Colour Australia to implement professional development programs, Glow Up Careers to coach new migrants in meaningful career pathways, and as an Ambassador at Elladex, a mentorship technology platform. She is passionate about building workplaces and systems where women and underrepresented communities can thrive. She believes lasting change comes when those with lived experience help shape the systems that affect them.
